The BMC Carbon Dynamic Airbox (CDA) filtering system features a cylindrical carbon fiber airbox and a washable filtering element. The carbon material's low thermal conductivity insulates aspirated air from engine heat. This design channels fresh, thermally insulated air directly to the filter and then to the engine via an airflow deflector, minimizing power loss. Connected to a frontal air intake by a flexible aluminum tube, the CDA system creates a dynamic supercharging effect, delivering air to the airbox at increased speed and capacity.
