The MODE Auto Concepts BMC Air Filter is designed as a direct replacement for your vehicle's original air filter, fitting seamlessly into the factory airbox. It is engineered using a "Full Moulding" system, creating a durable, single-piece construction without welded joints to prevent breakage. The filter media itself is composed of multi-layered cotton gauze, treated with low-viscosity oil, and encased by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh for protection against fuel fumes and humidity. This advanced construction allows for a significant increase in air flow compared to standard paper filters, while simultaneously offering superior filtration. The BMC filter can capture impurities as small as 7 microns, exceeding the 10-micron threshold of OEM filters. All BMC air filters are pre-oiled and can be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit, offering a sustainable and cost-effective solution for engine maintenance. This filter is compatible with a range of Volkswagen Golf GTI models, including the MK5, as well as certain Audi A3 and TT variants, KTM X-Bow, and Skoda Octavia. Specific fitment details include the VW Golf V GTI (2004-2009) with engines AXX, BPY, BWA, and BYD, the VW Golf VI GTI Edition 35 (2011-2012) with CDLG engine, and the VW Golf VI R (2009-2013) with CDLC, CRZA, CDLA, CDLF engines. It also fits the Audi TT MKII 2.0T (2006-2014) and Audi A3 8P FWD 2.0T (2006-2013).
