Description

The MODE Auto Concepts BMC Air Filter, part number FB545/20, is a high-performance replacement engine air filter engineered to fit directly into the original airbox of compatible Audi A4, A5, and Q5 vehicles. This filter utilizes a "Full Moulding" system for a robust construction without welded joints, ensuring durability. The filter media consists of multi-layered cotton gauze, treated with a low-viscosity oil, and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh. This advanced construction promotes increased airflow compared to OEM filters and offers superior filtration, capable of capturing particles down to 7 microns, whereas OEM filters typically capture down to 10 microns. The rubber used in BMC filters provides a long life, durability, and optimal adhesion to airbox shapes. All BMC filters are pre-oiled and can be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit. The FB545/20 filter is compatible with a wide range of Audi A4 (8K, B8), A5 (8T, 8F), and Q5 (8R) models, specifically those equipped with 1.8 TFSI, 2.0 TDI, and 2.0 TFSI engines, spanning various model years from 2007 to 2017. Always confirm fitment with your specific vehicle's engine code and chassis designation. This direct-fit replacement ensures easy installation without modifications.
