The MODE Auto Concepts BMC Air Filter, part number FB156/01, is a high-performance replacement air filter engineered to fit directly into your Porsche's original airbox. It effectively captures impurities down to 7 microns, offering superior protection for your engine's internals. Constructed using BMC's 'Full Moulding' system, this air filter is created from a single mold without welded joints, ensuring robust durability and preventing easy breakage. The filter media consists of multi-layered cotton gauze, saturated with a low-viscosity oil and protected by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh. This construction safeguards against fuel fumes and oxidation from air humidity, contributing to a long service life. The durable rubber frame provides excellent adhesion to ensure a proper seal within the airbox. This BMC air filter is washable and can be regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit, making it a sustainable choice for your vehicle maintenance. It is compatible with a wide range of Porsche 911 models, including the 996 generation (1997-2001 3.4L Carrera models, and 2002-2006 3.6L Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, and Targa models) as well as the 997 Gen1 models (2004-2008 3.6L Carrera, Carrera 4, Targa 4, and 3.8L Carrera S, Carrera 4S, Targa 4S models).
