Overview

The Burger Tuning BMS Competition Cold Air Intake is designed for Gen 2 B58 powered BMWs including the 2019-2024 M340i, 2022-2024 M440i, and 2022+ M240i. This intake system provides increased airflow, up to 18+ horsepower, and a dramatic sound improvement. It features a proprietary renewable inverted cone performance filter and retains the OEM heat shield and cold air ducting for optimal performance and low intake air temperatures.

The Burger Tuning BMS Gen 2 B58 Competition Cold Air Intake is engineered to enhance the performance and sound of your Gen 2 B58 powered BMW. It incorporates a built-in velocity stack for smooth air channeling into the intake system, maximizing performance gains. The design prioritizes airflow by using the OEM cold air inlet and a large opening on the cold side of the airbox, while also reusing the factory heat shield to maintain low intake air temperatures. The factory resonator is replaced with a smooth pipe to ensure less turbulent air delivery to the turbocharger. Key benefits include adding up to 18+ horsepower, increasing airflow by 50% over stock, and improving throttle response. Users report a dramatic sound improvement, with enhanced turbo spool and a more aggressive exhaust note, especially in sport modes. The kit includes the airbox lid with a clear window, high-flow airbox bottom and intake tube, a silicone coupler, various stainless steel screws, hose clamps, and weather stripping. Replacement filters and cleaning kits are also available separately.
