The Burger Motorsports BMS Elite Performance Intake is an intake system designed for S58-powered BMW M2, M3, and M4 models. It replaces the top section of the OEM intake with higher-flow 3.5" ducting and BMS inverted cone air filters while retaining the OEM airbox base and cold air ducting for heat shielding. This upgrade aims to improve power, turbo spool speed, and sound.

Installation is straightforward and reversible. Intake temperature testing showed no significant difference compared to the factory intake during various operating conditions.

The Burger Motorsports BMS Elite Performance Intake is engineered for S58-equipped BMW M2 (G87), M3 (G80/G81), and M4 (G82/G83) vehicles, offering a significant upgrade over the restrictive factory intake system. This performance intake system utilizes large 3.5" mandrel-bent aluminum tubing with a gloss black powder coat finish and CNC billet aluminum fittings. It replaces the upper portion of the intake with its own high-flow components and quality BMS inverted cone air filters, aiming to increase horsepower, improve throttle response, and enhance turbo spool sound. Key benefits include a claimed gain of up to 17+ horsepower, dramatic sound improvement, and superfast installation and removal. The system features cleanable and reusable performance air filters, which can be serviced every 15-20k miles. Intake temperature tests indicate no significant difference from the factory intake during both sustained cruise and full-throttle operation, ensuring optimal performance without heat soak. The BMS Elite G8x S58 Performance Intake is compatible with the following BMW models: M3 (2021+ G80 M3 and G80 M3 Competition), M4 (2021+ G82 M4 and G83 M4 Convertible), and M2 (2023+ G87 M2).
