The Burger Motorsports BMS V2 F30 N55 Performance Intake is a performance upgrade engineered to enhance your N55 TwinPower engine. It strategically replaces the restrictive upper portion of the factory intake with a new high-flow tube and a reusable performance air filter, while preserving the beneficial aspects of the OEM system, such as the cold air ducting and the airbox base which serves as a heat shield. This design aims to optimize airflow, leading to documented gains of up to 10+ horsepower at the wheels and improved turbo spool. This performance intake is specifically designed for F Chassis N55 engines and includes fitment for various BMW models: the M135i (2012-2015 F20/F21), M235i (2014-2018 F22/F23), M2 (2016-2017 F87 N55 engine only), 335i/335i xDrive (2012-2015 F30 Sedan/Hybrid 3, 2012-2015 F31 Touring, 2013-2015 F34 Gran Turismo), and 435i/435i xDrive (2014-2016 F32, 2014-2016 F33 Convertible, 2014-2016 F36 Gran Coupe). For vehicles with an automatic transmission or the N55 powered M2, specific components like a hollow rubber grommet and billet vacuum hose fitting are included. Manual transmission vehicles receive a rubber grommet plug.
