The Burger Motorsports BMS V2 Transmission Oil Cooler is engineered to combat the detrimental effects of heat on automatic transmissions, particularly in higher-power applications or warmer climates. This heavy-duty, high-capacity unit acts as a front-mounted air-to-trans fluid radiator, significantly lowering transmission fluid temperatures. Its design boasts 100% more surface area and a thicker, more efficient cooling core than stock, directly contributing to improved transmission performance and longevity. Installation is streamlined with a plug-and-play setup that connects directly to the factory coolant lines. The cooler installs inside the front bumper, leveraging existing openings for ample airflow over its substantial cooling core. This upgrade not only dissipates excess heat but also increases the transmission fluid capacity by approximately one quart. The BMS V2 unit measures 20.5" in length, 1.25" in width, and 6.5" in height, compared to the stock unit's dimensions of 21" x 0.75" x 3.25". This transmission oil cooler is specifically recommended for the Kia Stinger (2018-2023, 3.3L Twin Turbo and 2.0L Twin Turbo) and Genesis G70 (2018+, 3.3L Twin Turbo and 2.0L Twin Turbo). For the Genesis G80 (2017+, 3.3L Twin Turbo), modifications are necessary: the left bracket requires slight bending and lower bolt hole modification, and the right bracket needs an extension to align with the mounting point.
