Description

The A1 REMFG INC 72-94048 is a remanufactured torque converter. These units typically undergo a rigorous process of cleaning, inspection, and replacement of internal components like washers, spacers, springs, rollers, and lock-up clutch pistons. Turbine fins are inspected and may be retightened and welded. Hubs are also inspected and replaced if necessary. Remanufactured converters are then pressure tested and dynamically balanced to minimize vibration and ensure proper function. They are generally integrated into complete remanufactured transmission assemblies.
