This transmission mount is critical for securing the transfer case to the vehicle's frame, preventing excessive movement and vibrations. Failure of this mount can lead to noticeable vibrations, clunking noises during gear changes or when engaging 4WD, and potential difficulty in engaging the drivetrain, or even fluid leaks from the transfer case. This mount is specifically designed for BMW G80 M3 and G82 M4 xDrive models equipped with the 8-speed M automatic transmission.
