BMW Driveshaft Center Support Bearing Carrier Upgrade

The JXB Performance BMW10A0 is an upgraded driveshaft center support bearing carrier designed to eliminate drivetrain slop and restore proper driveshaft alignment in BMW E36 and E46 (RWD) 3 Series models. The stock carrier utilizes a rubber bushing that degrades over time, leading to a loss of center support, driveshaft misalignment, and undesirable slack during acceleration and deceleration. This can result in laggy and unpredictable driveline response, as well as increased stress on the joints. This upgraded carrier features robust, two-part clamp-around aluminum construction with bushings available in Street (softer, quieter) or Track (stiffer, louder) durometers. Benefits reported by users include more direct throttle response, firmer shifts, and smoother low-speed operation. Installation does not require removal or disassembly of the driveshaft. The 2-part design clamps around the existing OEM bearing after the old carrier is cut away. Accessing the carrier may require removal of exhaust components and heat shields.
