The Active Autowerke F8x catted downpipes are engineered to enhance the performance of BMW S55 engines found in the F87 M2C, F80 M3, and F82 M4. These downpipes incorporate a pair of 4-inch GESI G-Sport High Output Catalytic Converters, which are EPA registered and fully OBD2 compliant, suitable for use on 1996 and newer vehicles in 49 states. Constructed from durable TIG-welded 304 stainless steel, these downpipes offer improved turbo spool and response, reduced back-pressure, and enhanced low-end and mid-range performance, allowing for higher boost levels without compromising emissions. The 400 cell per square inch catalyst is rated for engines producing 500 to 850 horsepower and can reach operational efficiency within 9 seconds of startup.
