BMW S62 Carbon Fiber Intake Plenum

The Partee Racing BMW S62 Carbon Fiber Intake Plenum offers a complete carbon fiber solution for the S62 engine, encompassing both the top and bottom sections. This plenum is meticulously crafted from multiple layers of pre-preg carbon fiber, subjected to an autoclave baking process, and then hand-trimmed for precision. It features billet aluminum connectors, manufactured in-house by Partee Racing's machine shop. Designed as a direct bolt-on replacement, this carbon fiber plenum attaches to the engine's throttle bodies using the included bolts and gaskets. It effectively replaces the stock rubber plenum gaskets and hose clamps, eliminating the need for supplementary aluminum plenum plates which can retain heat. This design significantly increases plenum air volume and reduces intake air temperatures, especially when paired with the optional under-plenum heat exchanger delete kit. The result is an enhanced intake sound and improved engine bay aesthetics. While compatible with stock velocity stacks, optimal performance is achieved when used with Partee Racing's separately available carbon fiber velocity stacks. When combined with the carbon fiber velocity stacks, this plenum is dyno proven to increase power by over 22 wheel horsepower. The product is handmade in Danville, VA, with an average lead time of 8-12 weeks.
