BNR Ported Intake Manifold for GM 1.4T LUV/LUJ

The Badnews Racing Ported Intake Manifold is engineered to enhance performance for GM 1.4T LUV/LUJ engines, specifically targeting Gen 1 Cruze, Sonic, Trax, Encore, and 2016-2019 Vanderhall vehicles. The factory intake manifold features 'tumblers' within the runners, which act as air dams and restrict airflow, particularly at lower RPMs, impacting power output for fuel economy. This BNR manifold eliminates these restrictive tumblers. The porting process not only removes these obstructions but also enlarges and refines the intake runners for improved airflow. In addition to runner modifications, BNR also addresses a common manufacturing flaw by smoothing a casting imperfection found on the inlet side of the manifold, located behind the throttle body. This comprehensive porting and smoothing results in a more efficient intake pathway. Installation of this ported intake manifold is recommended to be paired with BNR's intake manifold spacer and throttle body spacer for optimized performance gains.
