Constructed from heavy-duty DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) round mechanical steel tubing with a 1.75" diameter and .120 wall thickness, this roll bar utilizes wide-radius bends designed to NASA Racing specifications. This manufacturing process ensures no metal crimping, tube deformation, or wall failure, unlike many competing products. It offers a true 100% bolt-in installation with an optimal 4-point mounting design and form-fitted brackets specific to the G22/G82 chassis. Installation requires the removal of the rear seat back, which contributes to weight reduction. While professional installation is recommended, Studio RSR's proprietary chromoly interlocking tubing clamps facilitate a weld-free assembly. All necessary hardware and installation instructions are included. The two-piece interlocking construction allows for direct shipping. The Tesseract cage is available in two specifications: Tesseract Spec (angled-leg, recommended for Street/HPDE) and NASA Racing spec (straight leg, preferred by BimmerWorld).
