The Redline Tuning Hood QuickLIFT ELITE System is designed to enhance your Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 or GT350R by replacing the factory prop rod with a smooth, one-handed operation. Simply start lifting the hood, and the progressive gas springs take over, lifting and holding it securely at the raised position. This system is engineered for a quick and easy 15-minute installation, utilizing all existing bolt-in locations for a clean engine bay. The QuickLIFT ELITE components feature black powder-coated steel mounting hardware for superior corrosion protection and 316L stainless steel gas springs, backed by a five-year warranty. Specifically designed for the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT350R models, this QuickLIFT system includes specialized fender brackets with a patent-pending locking insert for secure mounting. For non-Shelby Mustang models, a different part number (21-11035-03) is required. The gas springs used in the ELITE series are not standard off-the-shelf parts; they are custom-designed by Redline Tuning to meet specific vehicle application needs. They feature exclusive end-of-stroke dampening, which slows the extension rate in the final inches of travel to prevent stress on the hood.
