Overview

The TCI Bolt-Together Converter is a torque converter designed for GM 4L60E and 4L65E transmissions. It features a bolt-together design for easy stall RPM changes and rebuilds.

This converter is hand-assembled and computer-balanced, with fully furnace-brazed turbines and hand TIG-brazed impellers. It includes a patent-pending lock-Up clutch design for smooth engagement with aftermarket transmission controllers or the factory GM PCM. Each converter undergoes TCI Triple Testing.

The TCI Bolt-Together Converter is a high-performance torque converter engineered for GM 4L60E and 4L65E transmissions, offering a stall speed rating of 2800-2900 RPM. Its innovative bolt-together design facilitates easy on-site adjustments to stall RPM and simplifies the rebuilding process, making it a versatile choice for demanding applications. Constructed with durability and performance in mind, this converter features fully furnace-brazed turbines and hand TIG-brazed impellers. It is meticulously computer balanced and hand assembled to ensure optimal operation. The clutch friction material is specifically formulated to handle high torque demands without compromising drivability. Each TCI converter is subjected to a rigorous TCI Triple Testing process, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and performance before it reaches the customer.
