The Overtake 3-Port Electronic Boost Control Solenoid is engineered as a direct replacement and upgrade for turbocharged Subaru vehicles, providing enhanced boost control for optimal performance. Unlike the stock 2-port solenoid, this high-performance unit offers extremely precise boost management, enabling tuners to achieve and maintain stable boost levels throughout the entire power band for consistent performance. The design promotes faster turbo spool and tighter control over boost, improving throttle response and overall driving dynamics. Constructed with a balanced valve, this solenoid can reliably manage pressures up to 120psi without sacrificing response time. The unit includes nickel-plated 1/8" NPT fittings for durability and corrosion resistance, and is manufactured by MAC, a recognized leader in pneumatic control. Overtake also provides custom-fit installation brackets for a clean, factory-like appearance. With step-by-step written and video guides, installation is estimated to take approximately 15 minutes. Key specifications include a flow rate 10% greater than competitor solenoids, a response time of 6 milliseconds or less, and compatibility with the factory ECU. The solenoid also incorporates special seals to protect against moisture and high-temperature coils to maintain performance under demanding conditions. Mounting brackets are laser-cut, black zinc-plated, and feature threaded PEM nuts for a secure and reliable fit.
