Boost Tap Kit for EA888 Gen 3

The APR Boost Tap Kit provides a refined solution for accessing boost pressure and vacuum readings on 1.8T and 2.0T EA888 Gen 3 engines. Unlike traditional methods that can lead to inaccurate intake air temperature readings and potential power loss, this kit utilizes a unique approach. It involves creating a dedicated port on the factory intake manifold using an included tool, allowing the billet aluminum boost tap to connect securely with dual Viton o-ring seals for leak-free operation. The boost tap features a stainless steel barbed connection point for hoses and includes nearly 100 inches of 200 PSI rated hose, along with OEM-style ear clamps and cable ties for neat routing. For enhanced versatility, a T-fitting is provided to allow for multiple reference points. Additionally, a brass restrictor pill is included to mitigate gauge buzz for mechanical boost gauges. Included in the kit are the billet boost tap, Viton o-ring seals, stainless steel barbed connection point, "No-buzz" restrictor pill, tap cap, stepless ear clamps, 200 PSI hose, T-fitting, cable ties, anti-seize compound, and a tapping tool.
