bootmod3 S55 Custom Flash Tuning Platform

The protuningfreaks bootmod3 S55 Tune is a cloud-based flash tuning platform designed for BMW F-series vehicles equipped with the S55 engine. This advanced tuning solution allows users to transform their vehicle's performance, from stock to full race calibration, with the ability to switch maps on the fly using steering wheel controls. The platform calibrates factory vehicle modules through the OBD port, offering convenience and accessibility. Key features of the bootmod3 platform include a user-friendly mobile app (iOS and Android) and web interface, datalogging capabilities for over 200 diagnostic channels with real-time parameter monitoring via Live Dash gauges, and cloud-based storage for map data and datalogs. It also includes a GTS Transmission Flash for DCT-equipped vehicles and the ability to revert to the stock performance map. Customization options are extensive, with features such as map editing, top speed limiter removal, adjustable rev limiters, switchable exhaust burble settings, and the GTS Startup Roar. The platform supports various fuel types, including E85 blends and race gas, and is compatible with upgraded turbos and meth injection. Optional off-the-shelf (OTS) tunes for 91, 93, Race gas, and E85 octane are available, along with custom tuning services. Important considerations for installation and use include: vehicles with recent software updates may have a locked DME requiring bench unlocking, and DMEs with a production date after 6/2020 cannot be tuned. An OBD ENET cable is required and sold separately. Additionally, some bootmod3 products may void the vehicle's factory warranty and may not be legal for on-highway use.
