The Borg Warner EFR 8374 turbocharger is engineered for enthusiasts seeking significant power gains. It boasts a robust Forged-Milled Wheel (FMW) Extended Tip compressor, measuring 83mm at the exducer and 62.6mm at the inducer, with a maximum flow rate of 79 lb/min, suitable for applications requiring 475 to 750 horsepower. Key features include a Gamma-Ti turbine wheel for durability and rapid spool, a water-cooled bearing housing, and a dual ceramic ball bearing assembly with metal cages for longevity and smooth operation. The compressor housing is equipped with a 4.0" inlet and a 2.5" hose coupler outlet, and it integrates a Blow-Off Valve (BOV) for convenience and optimal performance. This turbocharger is available with T3 (0.83 A/R) or T4 (0.92, 1.05, 1.45 A/R) flange types, offering flexibility for various manifold setups. The twin-scroll design enhances exhaust gas pulsing for improved efficiency and quicker response.
