Description

The 3970-01 is a 5 ft OBD II cable designed for use with the ADS 625 diagnostic scan tool. It features a DLC connector end with a convenient LED light to assist in locating the vehicle's DLC in poor lighting conditions. The scan tool connector end provides a battery voltage reading directly from OBD pin 16, ensuring proper scan readings. The indicator displays actual battery voltage, "LO" if below 11.8 volts, or "HI" if above 15.5 volts, signaling that the battery system needs attention. This cable helps confirm proper voltage, ensuring accurate scan data.
