BOSS800 Hybrid Turbocharger

The CTS Turbo BOSS800 Hybrid Turbocharger is engineered as a direct replacement upgrade for the Audi/Porsche EA839 3.0T engine platform, offering significantly increased airflow while maintaining OEM fitment and drivability. This hybrid unit is optimized for higher boost efficiency and improved top-end power without compromising low-RPM response, utilizing an upgraded compressor and turbine configuration to support various fuel blends, including ethanol mixes. Key specifications include a 66mm turbo inlet (a larger inlet is required), a 66mm 7+7 design billet compressor wheel, and a 63mm 9 blade high-flow turbine wheel. The turbo features a stainless steel exhaust housing matched to the increased flow, heavy-duty bearings, and thrust washers, and is VSR balanced for optimal performance and longevity. Dyno results from Logic Street Performance indicate significant power gains with increased ethanol content. On 92 Octane, it produced 561 hp / ~532 lb-ft. With E50, it reached 640 hp / ~643 lb-ft, and with E55, it achieved 658 hp / ~654 lb-ft. Further increasing to E60 yielded 671 hp / ~663 lb-ft. These results were achieved with a vehicle featuring full bolt-ons, an upgraded fueling system (RS6 injectors, HPFP and LPFP upgrade, 4BAR Map sensors), and Logic Street Performance stage 3 tuning; individual results may vary. Installation requires specific parts including exhaust manifold gaskets, exhaust ring gasket, oil feed o-ring, oil feed and coolant o-rings, barrel nuts, exhaust nuts, a connecting pipe o-ring, exhaust gaskets, and a seal for the boost pressure relief valve. The turbo is designed for EA839 engines and requires compatible software from your tuner. Fitment includes a range of 2018-2024 Audi S4, S5, SQ5, Q7, Q8, A6, A7, AllRoad, A8 models, as well as 2020-2023 Porsche Macan S and Cayenne models equipped with the EA839 engine.
