Overview

The BOWB210 is an ideal upgrade for boaters seeking enhanced maneuvering. This 210 kgf Bow & Stern thruster offers unparalleled precision and agility for bow and stern movements, making navigation in tricky waters effortless. It features an exclusive built-in DC-to-DC smart charger, allowing 48 VDC thruster battery banks to be charged by a 24 VDC power supply. This smart three-stage charging process activates only when the source voltage is appropriate, preventing depletion of the engine starting bank and maintaining optimal battery levels. The BOW PRO Thruster 210 kgf 24/48 V 250 mm Tunnel also includes advanced lock and hold controls for setting and maintaining thrust at any chosen speed, simplifying navigation in narrow passages and docking. It is controlled by the patented MCV motor controller and uses the proprietary CANBUS protocol V-CAN for seamless connectivity. With a brushless induction motor, it is maintenance-free and offers extended runtime. The system also provides built-in protection against overheating and low battery, enhancing safety and reliability. It is engineered to align with the tunnel sizes of VETUS and other brands for easy existing thruster replacement. Suitable for boat sizes from 50 – 75 ft (16 - 22 m).
