Boxed Upper Control Arms

The Dirt King Fabrication DK-815902 boxed upper control arms are engineered to resolve the geometry and strength compromises that occur when lifting a vehicle with stock upper control arms. These arms feature increased castor and repositioned pivot angles, which reduce stress on the joints and allow for proper alignment and improved handling. The factory ball joints are replaced with robust 1-inch stainless steel uniballs, significantly increasing strength and articulation. For the inner pivots, durable urethane bushings with grease fittings are utilized for easy servicing, and high-grade 17-4 stainless steel misalignment spacers along with military-grade F911 hardware are included for mounting to the spindle. Constructed with a boxed plate design and professionally MIG welded, these control arms utilize 4130 chromoly uniball cups. They offer an additional 1 inch of wheel travel compared to stock and allow for 0-3 inches of lift while maintaining stock track width. The arms are compatible with factory or OEM replacement coilovers, including brands like King, Fox, Bilstein, ADS, and Icon, but should not be installed with coil spacers that over-articulate the suspension. They are designed to accommodate up to 35-inch tires, though modifications such as cutting the front section of the cab mount and trimming the front bumper may be necessary for proper clearance during turning and operation. Included with the control arms are urethane bushings, grease fittings, 1-inch FK uniballs, 17-4 stainless steel misalignment spacers, military-grade F911 hardware, zinc-plated components for corrosion resistance, and detailed installation instructions. These arms come preassembled for a faster installation process and are proudly made in the USA. They are compatible with both 2WD and 4WD models of the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra.
