BP High Power Profile Intake Camshaft

The Toda Racing BP (NA8C/NB8C) High Power Profile Camshaft is a performance-enhancing component designed to optimize engine output for specific Mazda Roadster models. This intake camshaft features a 256-degree angle and a 9.0mm lift, with a redesigned base circle to accommodate these higher lifts. Its standard base circle diameter measures Ø36mm. This camshaft is engineered for the BP engine in the NA8C and NB8C Roadster series, specifically for models produced up to approximately June 2000. It is crucial to note that the standard NA8C Hydraulic Lash Adjuster (HLA) system cannot be used with this camshaft. Instead, a Locked Lash Adjuster KIT or an Inner-Shim Conversion KIT is required for proper installation and function. While standard NA8C and NB8C ECUs can be used, in some instances, cylinder head modifications may be necessary if the high lift cam makes contact with the lifter hole.
