The Goodridge Braided Brake Hose Kit, part number 311-698-001, is engineered to enhance the braking performance of the Volkswagen Type 3 models from 1968 to 1973. Constructed with a PTFE inner core, these hoses are enveloped by a robust stainless steel overbraid and finished with a clear outer coating. This design significantly reduces the expansion of the brake lines under pressure, which is a common issue with standard rubber hoses that can lead to a spongy pedal feel and reduced braking efficiency.
