Overview

The HEL Performance braided brake line kit is designed as a direct replacement for the standard brake hoses on the Skoda Octavia 1U 1.9 TDi from 1998-2005. These lines feature a 3-layer construction to withstand extreme pressures and temperatures, promoting improved braking response, modulation, and control.

The hoses utilize a PTFE inner core for chemical resistance and temperature tolerance, reinforced with a stainless steel overbraid and finished with a protective PVC cover.

The HEL hoses feature a robust 3-layer construction capable of withstanding extreme pressures and temperatures, resulting in enhanced braking response, modulation, and control. Unlike rubber hoses that degrade over time, HEL replacements offer a lifetime of reliability with their durable construction. The construction includes a PTFE inner core, known for its exceptional chemical resistance and extreme temperature tolerance, preventing perishing or cracking. This core is protected by a high-strength stainless steel overbraid for added durability against wear and tear. A final layer of clear or colored, wipe-clean PVC protects the hose and surrounding bodywork from damage. This specific kit is designed for the Skoda Octavia 1U 1.9 TDi models manufactured between 1998 and 2005. HEL brake hoses comply with FMVSS-106 standards and are road legal worldwide. The kit includes stainless steel braided brake hoses and fittings, and where required, copper crush washers and mounting components, all backed by a HEL Lifetime Warranty.
