The HEL Performance braided brake line kit is designed as a direct replacement for the standard brake hoses on the Mazda RX-7 FC Turbo II (1987-1991). These lines eliminate the soft, sponge-like feel of rubber hoses by expanding less under pressure, providing more consistent braking performance. The HEL Performance braided brake line kit offers a significant upgrade for the Mazda RX-7 FC Turbo II models from 1987 to 1991. By replacing traditional rubber hoses, which expand under pressure and lead to a soft brake pedal, HEL lines provide a firmer and more predictable braking feel. Their three-layer construction includes a PTFE inner core for chemical resistance and temperature tolerance, a high-strength stainless steel overbraid for durability, and a clear or colored wipe-clean PVC outer cover to protect paintwork. Crafted with uncompromised quality, HEL utilizes high-grade 303/304 stainless steel for all its brake hose fittings, avoiding the use of zinc-plated components found in lesser products. This commitment to internal manufacturing ensures superior quality and faultless products, backed by an official lifetime warranty. The unique internal multi-groove design of HEL fittings ensures secure attachment and allows for fitting rotation post-hydraulic swaging for easier installation. These brake lines are also road-legal worldwide, complying with FMVSS-106 standards. This kit includes stainless steel braided brake hoses and fittings, copper crush washers (if required), mounting components (if required), and an installation leaflet.
