Braided Brake Lines

The HEL Performance HBF5390 is a custom-fit braided brake line kit specifically designed for the KTM RC390 ABS, covering model years 2014 through 2020. A key benefit of these HEL braided brake lines is the elimination of the "soft, sponge-like" braking feel commonly associated with standard rubber hoses. Rubber hoses expand under pressure, especially during harsh braking, leading to an unpredictable pedal feel. HEL's 3-layer construction, featuring a robust PTFE inner core and a high-strength stainless steel overbraid, can withstand extreme pressures and temperatures, promoting new levels of braking response, modulation, and control. The durability is further enhanced by the use of 303/304 grade stainless steel fittings, manufactured in-house by HEL, which resist corrosion better than zinc-plated alternatives. The PTFE inner core provides exceptional chemical resistance and temperature tolerance, preventing perishing or cracking over time. A clear or colored wipe-clean PVC cover finishes the hose and protects adjacent body panels and paintwork. These brake lines are built to last and are backed by HEL's Lifetime Warranty. They are fully compliant with FMVSS-106 standards, making them road-legal worldwide. Customers can also choose from multiple hose color options to customize the look of their motorcycle.
