Braided Stainless Steel Brake Lines

Constructed with a braided 304 stainless steel outer layer and a smooth-bore Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) / Teflon core, these lines offer significantly less expansion. This translates to a firmer brake pedal feel and reduced pedal travel, as brake fluid is delivered more efficiently. These lines are application-specific, featuring the correct length and hose fittings to eliminate potential leak points often associated with universal kits. They boast an attractive, smoked clear polyvinyl chloride (PVC) outer jacket that allows the braided stainless steel to be visible, complemented by red anodized inserts and Cr3+ steel connectors with a polished finish. Each brake line is rigorously tested to 3,000 PSI, well beyond typical operating pressures, and is independently certified as SAE "low-expansion" lines. They are compatible with DOT 3, 4, 5, and 5.1 brake fluids and meet FMVSS106 and SAE J1401 standards. It is important to note that while these are direct-fit upgrades, always check your factory brake line connectors. Some vehicles may have different caliper brands that appear similar but use incompatible connectors.
