Brake Booster Delete Kit

By removing the power assistance of the brake booster, drivers can experience a significantly firmer pedal feel and a direct connection to the braking system. This translates into a reduction in compliance between the pedal and the master cylinder, eliminating lag and providing improved braking control. The system's reduced sensitivity makes modulating brake force easier, and the removal of the booster contributes to overall weight reduction. This kit features a unique 6:1 pedal ratio, engineered to mitigate the increased pedal effort often associated with manual brake conversions. This is achieved through an offset mounting location for the master cylinder and the creation of a new mounting hole in the brake pedal for the push rod clevis, for which a template is provided. The adapter mounts using studs, mirroring the method of a standard Honda booster. Installation requires a 7/8″ or 13/16″ master cylinder, chosen based on the size of your vehicle's brake discs. For factory front brakes measuring 282mm or larger (or aftermarket calipers like Spoon or Willwood with 282mm+ rotors), a 7/8″ master cylinder is recommended. For factory front brakes of 262mm or smaller, a 13/16″ master cylinder is advised. The master cylinder size is typically marked on its side. The kit is compatible with OEM proportioning valves, and factory hard lines from the OEM proportioning valve can be reused if replacing the original booster and master cylinder from an EG model. Aftermarket proportioning valves may require custom lines. The kit includes a firewall adapter compatible with Honda EK master cylinders (with mounting studs), a pushrod, a block-off cap for the intake manifold, and installation instructions.
