The NCY forged brake caliper is a precision-engineered, two-piston upgrade designed to replace the standard single-piston calipers found on many popular scooters with Minarelli engines, including the Yamaha Zuma, Genuine Buddy 50, and RoughHouse 50. By upgrading to this forged aluminum unit, riders experience improved braking performance and gain access to a wider variety of brake pad compound options for tailored stopping characteristics. This caliper features a bleeder bolt with an included cap and arrives with two brake pads pre-installed. The unit measures approximately 103-110mm in length, 63.8mm in width, and 97mm in height. It is the same component featured in NCY Ruckus front-end kits and is manufactured under strict ISO 9001 quality standards. Compatibility includes the Yamaha Zuma 50, Genuine Roughhouse 50, Genuine Buddy 50, Genuine Rattler 50, Honda Elite (1994 and newer), Honda Metropolitan (pre-2011), Honda Ruckus 50, and Honda Dio 50 series (AF25, AF27, and AF28). For optimal performance and ease of maintenance, it is recommended to pair this caliper with a braided brake line and an optional banjo bolt with a built-in bleeder valve to simplify the bleeding process. Note that these performance parts are intended for racing applications and are not covered by manufacturer warranty.
