The Zumbrota Drivetrain RMTAX5J-4 is a remanufactured AX5 manual transmission built for Jeep 94-95 Wrangler, 5-speed, 4WD with an external slave cylinder. It undergoes a rigorous 3-step inspection process to ensure quality and meet OEM specifications, including pre-inspection for case cracks, component measurement, and a final post-build inspection for gear wear, shaft straightness, and synchronizer testing. Each unit is dyno-tested for operation, shiftability, and noise, with all seals replaced. The transmission is also hydro-blast rinsed, sandblasted, and deep cleaned for precision and reliability.
