Brake Cooling Duct

This kit utilizes advanced brake technology to reduce brake fade and ensure continuous cooling and refreshing of the brake pad surface under heavy use. The SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft-quality billet, features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. It weighs just over 7lbs each and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design improves pad wear and rigidity over OEM systems, while the stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This kit features Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors offer cooler operation and are recommended for daily drivers, the slotted rotors in this kit are ideal for vehicles that see more track use. Ksport Big Brake kits typically fit 2WD vehicles unless otherwise stated. The 2-piece floating disc design helps manage extreme heat, preventing warping and cupping of the braking surface.
