Standard features also include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM components. Stainless-steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport utilizes a two-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. For applications where extreme heat is a factor, a floating disc option is available to prevent thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise while efficiently expelling gas and pad debris. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific kit features cross-drilled rotors, which are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their tendency to run cooler than slotted rotors.
