Brake Cooling Duct Kit

The Ksport ProComp Front Big Brake Kits offer a substantial upgrade in stopping power, utilizing advanced brake technology to combat brake fade and maintain optimal pad performance. Each kit features an extreme lightweight forged one-piece caliper, crafted from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. These calipers come in a differential bore configuration and are equipped with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed piston design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components. The kit includes a 2-piece disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. For many applications, a floating disc option is available to mitigate thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport utilizes heat-treated and balanced rotors for optimal performance. The included SC5 Street Pads are made of NAOC ceramic, designed for optimal street and occasional track use with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust and wear compared to race pads. Further enhancing performance, the kit includes DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which improve pedal feel and responsiveness by eliminating expansion under pressure compared to stock rubber lines. Carbon steel caliper brackets are also included, allowing the larger Ksport calipers to bolt directly into the OEM caliper bracket location. This kit is specifically designed for the 2013-2016 Mazda CX-5. As a special order product, it is manufactured to client specifications and is non-returnable.
