Brake Cooling Kit

This system integrates new brake technology to reduce brake fade and continually refresh the brake pad surface, ensuring consistent performance under demanding conditions. The SuperComp caliper is an extreme lightweight component, featuring a differential bore configuration and larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Machined from aircraft-quality billet, each caliper weighs just over 7 lbs and includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. The rotors are cross-drilled, promoting cooler operation, and are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This kit is specifically designed for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic.
