Brake Cooling Kit

Its advanced design incorporates new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensures continuous cooling and refreshing of the brake pad surface under braking conditions. At the core of the kit is an extreme lightweight one-piece caliper, CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. This caliper weighs just over 5 lbs. each and features differential bore configuration and machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The Ksport kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. For many applications, a floating disc option is available to mitigate thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or surface cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are advised for vehicles with more track use. This specific kit is designed for the 2008-2012 Honda Accord (2.4L).
