Brake Cooling Kit

This kit incorporates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensures continuous cooling and refreshing of the brake pad surface under braking. At the heart of this system is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and weighing just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, enhancing pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, along with machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. The opposed piston caliper design and stainless steel brake lines further contribute to performance and durability by preventing expansion under pressure. SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor efficiently reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more rapidly than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment to ensure optimal performance. For daily-driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are preferred for vehicles experiencing more track use. This specific kit is designed for the 2008-2012 Honda Accord V6 3.5. However, it is important to note that with some Ksport ProComp series kits, the OEM handbrake may not function.
