Brake Cooling Kit

This extreme brake upgrade is designed with new technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure the brake pads' surface is continually cooled and refreshed during braking. The SuperComp caliper itself is exceptionally lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Machined from aircraft-quality billet, it includes protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This SuperComp system includes Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly, which effectively reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing the disc from warping or the braking surface from cupping. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are advised for track use due to their ability to reduce braking noise and expel gas and debris more efficiently than conventional designs.
