Brake Cooling Kit

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit provides superior stopping power for your vehicle. This front brake system integrates advanced technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads during operation. This kit features Ksport's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and weighing just over 7 lbs. It boasts larger pistons than ProComp calipers, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the stainless-steel braided brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp series calipers require four brake pads each. Included is a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, and prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris efficiently. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific kit features 330mm x 32mm rotors, with options for cross-drilled or slotted designs. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for street and occasional track use. They operate optimally between 194°F – 1022°F, produce 50% less dust than race pads, and reduce noise and rotor wear. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic, are available for extreme track conditions with optimal operating temperatures of 482°F – 1472°F and are not recommended for street use. This big brake kit is made to order and is non-refundable. It is compatible with the Mercedes-Benz W221 S-Class from 2007-2013, specifically the S550 (M273 5.5L, 2007-10 and M278 4.6L, 2011-13), S600 (M275 5.5TT), S63 AMG (M156 6.3L), and S65 AMG (M275 6.0TT) models.
