Brake Cooling Kit

The SuperComp caliper itself is an extreme lightweight component, weighing just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Machined from aircraft-quality billet, it includes integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on every caliper are aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel wear plates, contributing to improved pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. The kit also includes stainless steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure. This system utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also effectively manages thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and cupping of the braking surface. The unique slotted rotor design is optimized to reduce braking noise and expel gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles primarily used for track driving, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler.
