Brake Cooling Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your vehicle. The SuperComp caliper is constructed from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can warp the disc. The rotors have a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and expel gas and pad debris efficiently. Standard on this kit are cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles. Ksport offers options for either SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC ceramic for optimal performance between 194°F – 1022°F with reduced dust and noise, or RC5 Race Pads, carbon metallic pads designed for extreme track conditions with optimal temperatures between 482°F – 1472°F (not recommended for street use). DOT compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, improving pedal feel and response. All Ksport big brake kits come with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
