Brake Cooling Kit

This kit is designed for the Audi A3 8L model years 1996-2003, specifically for the rear application, and is compatible with AWD models. Each caliper is constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-quality aluminum, featuring a one-piece design that is both lightweight and incredibly strong. The opposed-piston caliper design substantially improves pad grip and reduces uneven wear compared to OEM systems. Aluminum caliper pistons offer resistance to corrosion and better heat management, while heavy-duty caliper seals are built for sustained high-temperature racetrack use. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring a faster pedal response. The kit utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly with an aluminum center to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, contributing to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced before shipment for optimal performance. Ksport offers options for slotted rotors, recommended for track use, or cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler and offer increased "bite," recommended for daily driven vehicles. Pad options include SC5 Street pads (ceramic, low-dust) for street use and RC1 Race Pads (carbon metallic) for extreme track conditions. Rotor size options range from 11-inch to 14-inch, and calipers are available in standard colors like Orange, Red, Yellow, and Black, with over 20,000 custom color options available. The kit includes a 12-month warranty covering manufacturer defects.
