Brake Fade Reduction and Cooling System

The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit provides the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle. This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually refresh the brake pad surface during braking, ensuring consistent performance. The extreme lightweight one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and features a differential bore configuration. It weighs just over 5 lbs each and includes machined-in protection grooves for the bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper design include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design substantially improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Stainless-steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport utilizes a two-piece disc assembly for reduced rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more rapidly than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that will see more track use than daily driving, while cross-drilled rotors tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles.
