Overview

Integrating new brake technology, this kit significantly reduces brake fade and continually cools the brake pad surface. The SuperComp caliper is an extreme lightweight, differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than their ProComp calipers. It's machined from aircraft quality billet and features aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce weight and stop thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor expels gas and pad debris faster.
Show original supplier description
This advanced braking system utilizes cutting-edge technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously refresh the brake pad surface, ensuring optimal performance under demanding conditions. The SuperComp caliper itself is a standout component, weighing just over 7 lbs and machined from aircraft-quality billet. It features a differential bore configuration with pistons larger than Ksport's ProComp calipers, enhancing braking force and control. The opposed piston design promotes even pad wear and superior caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. Furthermore, stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure, maintaining consistent brake feel. This kit includes Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design also mitigates thermal stress, preventing disc warping and braking surface cupping during extreme heat. Every rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing prior to shipment to guarantee peak performance. The product listing notes that while cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, slotted rotors are preferred for vehicles that see more track use.
