This kit integrates advanced brake technology to reduce brake fade during demanding use and ensures the brake pads are constantly cooled and refreshed. The caliper itself is an extreme lightweight, forged one-piece design, machined from aircraft-quality billet, and features differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and surface cupping. The rotors have a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport heat-treats and balances every rotor for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track use. This specific kit, part number BKHY270-443SO, includes a ProComp 4-piston caliper in red, with a 356mm (14-inch) diameter slotted rotor, designed for the rear of the 2015 Hyundai Sonata LF Chassis (Turbo and Non-Turbo models).
