The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents the pinnacle of stopping power for your vehicle, engineered with advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and maintain optimal pad performance under demanding conditions. Featuring Ksport's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, this unit is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and boasts a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than their ProComp calipers. Each caliper weighs just over 7 lbs and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's substantial size, each unit utilizes four brake pads. The SuperComp systems include a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, while also preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. For daily drivers, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation compared to slotted rotors, which are better suited for track use. This kit is made to order and is non-refundable.
