This kit features an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft-quality billet, which weighs just over 7lbs and incorporates differential bore configuration with larger pistons than their ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all contributing to improved pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity. Stainless steel brake lines are incorporated to prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight while preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and expel gas and pad debris more efficiently. This specific kit comes with cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles. The rotor diameter is 400mm, and the caliper type is 8 Piston.
